Then is a stone:
hug it, you drown.
 
Then is a stone,
you can bury it.
 
Then is a stone. So break
it to pocket only
 
some favorite piece
 
which soon will be worn
to a polish, and round.
 
Now how is it chosen,
that face you must own

that watches this drop
to still waters--
